Whether you eat before or after exercising won't affect the number of calories you burn, but having breakfast first might give you more energy and endurance. Some people prefer to just drink a glass of juice or perhaps have a piece of toast or yogurt -- something quick and easy to digest. If you choose toast, avoid high-fat toppings such as butter or cream cheese (use a little jam or jelly, or a thin spread of peanut butter). Be sure to drink water during exercise: about a half cup (four ounces) every 15 minutes.
When you're done exercising, drink another eight ounces or so of water. If you find that you are absolutely starving after exercising, it will be easy to overeat. Try to eat something light but that will carry you through the next few hours. Hot oatmeal (avoid the sugared flavored types), fruit, milk and whole-grain cold cereal are all good choices.

No prob atox!
I read somewhere that working out on an empty stomach was just fine !? IDK.......and it said it was preferred...guess ya never know till you try it yourself though....When I work out, it's on an empty stomach as far as 'food' goes...I have an 8 oz. glass of water, then pound the punching bag and do several crunches.......they're not as hard as people make em out to be! After about 30 minutes of the bag, hand weights and crunches I'll chill for about 20 minutes, eat some yogurt and some toast and go back at it* I don't work out that much though...I got that natural 'cut' thing goin' so I can't work out too much....if that makes sence? don't get me wrong chica...not braggin' AT all.......that's just facts...I guess there can be people with no muscle mass who want some and those who have it naturally and literally try to 'chill' on it...girl I got all kinds of work out advice if ya want some....AND it really works.....for me anyway..
I always work out on an empty stomach. After finishing my routine, I take a shower, pour on a nice cup of coffee and have my breakfast reading the news. It's part of a routine that I like and look forward to. And that motivates me to do my job (work out)
eat after you work out. Drink water during workouts.
Agree tabloid princess. I have my bottle of water always chilled and ready
you go ahead girl. I'm going on my treadmill right now. Peace!
I finished and now I'm ready to take a shower. I just feel so good after working out. Before starting I kind of dread it, but once I'm done it's all cool!
I guess it depends on the person if you want to eat before a workout. Just clearing up that it doesn't determine how many calories you burn.
